Government Response: The Welsh Language Standards (No. 10) Regulations 2026
Technical Scrutiny point 1: The Welsh Government accepts the reporting point and will make the minor correction prior to making.
Merits Scrutiny point 2: The Welsh Government notes that this matter extends beyond this set of Regulations. We therefore intend to consider whether there is a need to bring forward legislation to amend all sets of Standards Regulations to determine that documents made available to the public as a result of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 should be exempted from the standards regime.
